Celebrating the Stories & Resilience of Motherhood
Harman Foundation hosted its 12th Annual Fundraising Gala – “Light & Hope: A Tribute to All Mothers”, on Sunday, 11th May 2025, at Bowman Hall, Blacktown. “In 2024, our collective efforts resulted in real outcomes for people including 15 women and 5 children rebuilding their lives at HER House, 3500+ crisis calls managed, 500 families supported, by our 200 sincere volunteers”, said the Chairman & Co-Founder of Harman Foundation, Maninder Singh (Mr/He/Him), as he launched the annual impact report.
The highlight of the evening was the Dignity Walk, our volunteers dressed in preloved clothing from our Thrift Factory initiative carrying messages and statistics on domestic violence. The purpose of this showcase was to connect the audience with the deep realities of domestic violence and our responsibility to stand together to make a difference. “Stand with us” was the key message of our CEO & Co-Founder, Harinder Kaur, OAM. And so, they stood, all 250 people in the hall with us and our powerhouse team of volunteers. Waves of hope were felt through the hall.
