Our domestic, family and sexual violence helpline is active 24/7, dedicated to supporting women from the multicultural communities in Australia. Our team has also assisted men seeking refuge. Our staff is trained and have deep understanding on how to provide immediate help, guidance and support to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) callers, specifically within the South Asian Communities.

Annually, over 30+ trained multilingual volunteers, under the guidance of the Helpline Operational Coordinator and two Counsellors, manage all inbound and outbound calls to support individuals and families seeking help.

Our Approach

Our team assists with various challenges including domestic and family violence, mental health, food insecurity, safe accommodation, emotional support and more. Each case is evaluated and supported individually, and intervention is applied where necessary. We conduct comprehensive case management assessments and refer cases to other support services to deliver holistic care and support.
